To come to Russia foreign citizens usually need to apply for visa. Scholarly exchange visas are issued by Russian Embassies and Consulates abroad against the official invitation issued by the university (enough for citizens of PRC and EU) plus “yellow card” , issued by the Federal Immigration Agency (for most of other countries)  In order to draw a scholarly exchange visa invitation from the Federal Immigration Agency (which takes around 30 days), we need to receive by April 15 a clear scanned copy of your passport’s front page and a “Participant’s info” form. Please, fill all the blanks and send it to fareastlit@gmail.com. We expect to deliver you the invitation by the end of June. Unfortunately, due to Western sanctions and Russia’s countersanctions Russian visas could be not available to nationals of certain countries. Please, check the availability of Russian visa at the web-site of Russian embassy in your country.

The type of the visa suitable for conference is “Ordinary humanitarian visa” (subtype “Scholarly and technical exchange”). The exact regulations (fees, processing time, documents) differ from country to country on reciprocal basis, please, check with the nearest Russian embassy or consulate.
