In pre-modern poetry we find many examples when negative situations are depicted through the picture of broken balance or abnormal functions of basic elements of the world. Many of the models likewise relate to oppositions: inner and outer, fast and slow etc. There are texts built on oppositions. E.g. one of the text by Jeong Hyeon-jong a part of the cycle “Saint Petersburg verse” composed after the famous poet visited Saint Petersburg State University.
